Reproduction of Toshusai Sharaku's kabuki actor print ofMorita Kanya VIII as Uguisu no Jirôsaku in the Play Katakiuchi Noriaibanashi. The picture appears to be printed on some kind of silky fabric, but it hasn't been taken out of the frame.The label on the back shows it came from Rudolf Lesch who was a distributor of art reproductions based in New York between the 1930s- 70s, so it's a definitely a vintage piece but I have no exact date for it.Double mounted and framed in a secure bamboo-style gold frame.Height - 19" / Width - 15.125" / Depth - 0.875"
