The N.S. Meyer Company of New York City was one of America's foremost insignia makers until it folded over 20 years ago. In addition to the U.S. government, N.S. Meyer contracted with many foreign governments within the Western Hemisphere for their insignia needs. These items are NEW old stock cleared from the factory when it was liquidated. All are between 40 and 60 years old, still on their maker cards, and are UNUSED. They are as bright and pretty as the day they were made! These were difficult to photograph as they are still very shiny with their heavy plating.
These beautiful sets were worn on the lapels of Armed Forces Officer uniforms. Each is 1" tall, gold plated and has great detailing with hard enamels. You will receive TWO PAIRS of these as shown. Here is a shot of Hugo Chavez wearing his set of these. These make nice gifts for friends or visitors from Venezuela and look great on civilian suit lapels.
