The bayonet has stacked leather grooved handles, NO movement or shrinkage to the leather, Shows slight wear where the blade rubs against the USM8A1 sheath, but retains most of its original blackening.The sheath is excellent,, with no cracks in the plastic, from the PWH company. Interestingly, this company ,The Pennsylvania Working Home for the Blind had major military contracts especially during Vietnam, from 1965-69.From a private collection.
