Uruguay Amethyst & Clear Quartz Agate Geode on Rotating Metal Stand ✨
A truly unusual Uruguay specimen featuring a sparkling open crystal cavity filled with a beautiful mixture of pale Amethyst and nearly clear Quartz crystals, surrounded by layers of natural agate/chalcedony.
Unlike the classic deep-purple Uruguay Amethyst typically seen, this piece has a wonderfully different appearance. The crystal pocket transitions between clear, silvery-lavender and soft purple quartz, creating incredible depth and sparkle throughout the cavity.
The reverse side is especially striking. Rather than being left as ordinary basalt matrix, the back displays an extensive polished agate/chalcedony formation with blue-gray, greenish, cream and earthy rust-toned mineral patterns. Natural pockets, mineral markings and formations remain visible throughout, giving the specimen a very organic, one-of-a-kind appearance.

Amethyst and Clear Quartz are both varieties of quartz, which makes the transition within this specimen particularly fascinating. The cavity displays crystals ranging from almost colorless quartz to soft lavender and deeper purple Amethyst, surrounded by the agate layers that formed along the outer portion of the geode.
The polished back is almost a display piece by itself, with swirling and mottled mineral patterns in blue-gray, green, cream, black and warm earthy tones.
