VTG 1950s Days of the Week Flowers Towels Liquid Embroidery/Artex Vogart #215 For Sale

A lovely vintage set of 7 1950's Days of The Week kitchen tea/dish towels, featuring iconic highly collectible Vogart Iron-on Transfer Pattern #215, "A Flower A Day For Your Kitchen." These towels were handcrafted using mid-century liquid embroidery paint (Artex), painted on lightweight cotton. Unfolded, they measure 17" wide by 35.5" long. Each lightweight cotton towel features a distinct flower paired with a specific day of the week as follows:

• A Rose for Monday
• A Morning Glory for Tuesday
• Sweet Peas for Wednesday
• A Tulip for Thursday
• A Poppy for Friday
• A Daffodil for Saturday ***PLEASE NOTE: THIS ONE IS MISSPELLED!
• Pansies for Sunday

Condition: There are age-related storage yellowing/stains on a few pieces which is very typical for authentic mid-century textiles, but the colors remain remarkably vibrant.
Care: These should be washed in cold water on a delicate cycle and line/air dried. If needing ironing, always iron on the reverse side!
