A fantastic vintage Halloween collectible from Geo. Z. Lefton’s Colonial Village Collection.
This piece is called “Mooncrest” and is the whimsical haunted house from the series. It is marked 1998, Geo. Z. Lefton, Mooncrest, #11588 and was retired in 1999.
Mooncrest is loaded with Halloween detail, including a ghost, witch, bats, black cats, jack-o’-lanterns, ivy-covered walls, crooked shutters and an elaborate tower. The house lights from the back using colored nightlight-style bulbs that illuminate different windows, creating a wonderful spooky display. The original design is also documented as having spooky sound effects.
A standout piece for a Lefton Colonial Village collection, Halloween village display, haunted house collection, or vintage seasonal décor.
