Whimsical French mid-century charm, great for cocktail hour or tablescape with this rare, vintage set of embroidered cocktail napkins from the historic Parisian boutique \"Au Carnaval de Venise\". This complete set features a total of 8 small napkins, (8\" x 4.5\"), beautifully presented in their original boutique presentation box. Each napkin features a charming, vibrant embroidered rooster (coq) emblem on a fine mesh corner insert, complete with a stitched banner reading \"CHEER UP\". Hand-finished style with coordination colored blanket-stitch borders. They com le complete with the original boutique gift box, ( 5.25\" square x .50\" tall), featuring the classic Parisian shop address text on the top lid. Excellent vintage condition, presenting as unused \" new old stock\" in its original packaging. The colors are bright and the embroidery is flawless. As shown in the photos, there are few brown storage age spots on some of the napkins from decades of storage.
