Marketed originally as \"the world\'s most beautiful playing cards,\" this mid-century bridge set features two iconic 18th-century portrait masterpieces on the card backs:
• Deck 1 (Pink Border): Features \"Pinkie\"by Thomas Lawrence (1794).
• Deck 2 (Blue Border): Features \"The Blue Boy\" by Thomas Gainsborough (1770).
The set is housed in its original gold-toned, lift-top storage box featuring the classic embossed Gainsborough globe logo and manufacture details printed on the inside of the lid.
