Solid cedar construction with beautiful natural grain, hinged lid, and original front lock hardware. Interior lid is clearly stamped:

Excellent vintage condition. Interior is clean and the cedar grain is especially attractive. Original key is not included. Please review photos closely for exact condition.
These miniature Lane chests were produced as promotional keepsake/jewelry boxes through furniture retailers and are now collectible pieces of vintage furniture advertising. Lane was heavily marketing cedar chests as graduation gifts by the early 1950s.
