Subject: It depicts the famous Fryderyk Chopin Monument in Warsaw’s Łazienki Park, designed by Wacław Szymanowski (1926).
The artwork shows Chopin seated under a stylized willow tree, a motif symbolizing both nature and sorrow.
Technique: The image is made from carefully cut and glued pieces of natural straw, a traditional Polish folk art technique known as słomkowe inkrustacje (straw inlay/marquetry).
Condition:
- The frame shows expected minor wear.
