VTG Tuskeloid Celluloid Vanity Dresser Set 11 Items Art Deco Clock Lace Tray For Sale

MarkedTuskeloid, the product of a New Jersey company opened in 1913 thatspecialized in making celluloid vanity items, this vintage vanity ordresser set includes 11 items plus the lids for three of the items. Included are a clock marked USA, a two-handled tray with lace insert,a hexagonal powder box, a hexagonal hair receiver, a nail buffer, anail file and a second nail instrument, a hair brush, a pair ofscissors marked Germany “La Parisienne,” and a comb. The mirroris clear. The comb has all of its teeth. The clock works. There aredark marks on the inside bottom of the powder container that we havenot attempted to remove. The nail buffer is in poor condition. Thecontoured box holding the nail buffer has an issue also. One of thesides has curled away from the base. Please look at the photoscarefully. All pieces could use a gentle cleaning. A particularlygood looking set in a design that suggests Art Nouveau meets ArtDeco.
