VTG Wako China Occupied Japan TeaCup & Saucer Blk Ext Dk Green Int Floral Pink.
Authentic vintage Wako China cup and saucer set, made during the Occupied Japan era (1945–1952). The cup’s exterior is glossy black; the interior and saucer feature a rich dark green background with hand-painted pink and white roses and green leaves, finished with gold gilt trim. Both pieces are marked “Wako China – Occupied Japan” on the base.
Measurements: • Cup – 2\" tall, 3 ¾\" wide at rim • Saucer – 5 ¼\" diameter
Condition: Good vintage condition. No cracks or crazing. Pings true. Minor wear to the gold trim and a small paint-loss spot on the cup base (see photos).
A beautiful collectible piece of post-war Japanese porcelain, perfect for display or as part of a vintage china collection.
