Calisa is a beautiful 27\" tall doll created by Vera Scholz, a famous German doll artist. She was manufactured in 1998 in the Waltershausen Puppen Manufactory (WPM), one of the well known German doll companies, that don\'t exist anymore. She is NR. 90 of a limited edition of250.
Calisa\'s socket head, her legs up to herknees and her arms up toher elbows are made of Biggidur, a porcelain-like vinyl and unique speciality of WPM. The body is made of soft cloth. Wire armatures in her legs and arms make the doll veryposable. She can sit or stand with a doll stand.Calisa has light blond human, hand knotted hair, and her hazel eyes are mouth blown glass eyes.
Calisa\'s clothes consist of a one-piece underwear and a very pretty dark greenvelvet dress finished with an off-white silk collar and two decorative bows (see photos). She also wears a pretty pearl necklace.Off-white socks and leather shoes finish her fancy outfit.
Calisa carries a cute teddy bear purse with her.
The doll is in excellent condition. It comes with the COA, tag and box, that shows some wear from storage.
