It features a 2 3/4 cutting edge. The blade is polished carbon tool steel. The blade also is stamped Buck.

This hatchet is 10 1/2\" long.The handle is black phenolic.This is a rare Buck one liner hatchet, made in San Diego, CA pre-1967. This features a chrome finished carbon steel blade. The hatchetis nice and is visible at the blade edge where the sharpened section starts. It comes with the black leather sheath. A fine example of Buck\'s one liner era.
The hatchet also comes with a Buck black leather sheath. The hatchet comes with the vintage factory leather sheath.
