Thisvintage1884-1892 Falls City Glass Company (Red Book #988) blue-green half-gallonwax sealer fruitjar is in good condition.The groove ring has one small chip (closeup shown in photos #13 and 14 at 6:00) on an otherwise smooth groove ring.The jar isapproximately9 5/16" tall. As expected with vintage fruit jars, there are manufacturing flaws including light orange-peel texture and lots of closed bubbles in the glass.The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including expected surface and base scratches.
