Thisvintage1896-1910BALL (3-L)mason shoulder-seal (Red Book #193)blue quart fruit/canning jar is in good condition.One side of the jar is embossed with the wordBall(3-L). There is a letterBembossed on the base.Including the zinc cap, the canning jar isapproximately6 3/4" tall. As expected with vintage canning jars, there are manufacturing flaws including closed bubbles in the glass. The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including expected rim wear and surface scratches.Please look at the photos carefully. They are an important part of the description.
