Up for sale is a fantastic piece of authentic 1930s aviation history. This is an old and original cardboard box top panel from a golden-age balsa wood model airplane kit. Designed by the legendary Joe Ott and manufactured by the Whitman Publishing Company, it features incredible Art Deco typography and vibrant red-and-yellow graphics of a Monocoupe 90 Deluxe flying model.
The graphics panel has been nicely preserved, matted, and housed in a sleek black frame that measures approximately 14.5\" x 9\". It makes an immediate, eye-catching statement piece for a hangar, garage, office, or man cave.

This item is being sold as-is. The vintage cardstock panel shows authentic age and character, including minor edge wear and a vertical crease/crack on the lower-left edge (please closely review all photos for exact condition details).
Note on the Frame Backing: On the reverse side, one of the metal fastening/hanger hooks has a broken end piece so that specific clip doesn\'t function fully, but the backing plate remains securely in place with no issues. The frame holds perfectly tight and is ready to display.
