Vintage No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, believed Stanley manufactured, with an early PHILLIPS – LIC. 1 marking.
Shaft is marked with the original Phillips patents 2,046,837 / 2,046,840, along with MADE IN U.S.A. and ALLOY STEEL. Stanley held Phillips License No. 1, and these early patent markings date this style to the pre-1950 era, approximately late 1930s–1940s.
Features a chunky fluted wood handle with attractive age and patina. Shows expected wear, oxidation, scratches and use from age. Please review photos closely for exact condition and markings.
