Up for sale is an authentic vintage Ronson \"Nordic\" mid-century table lighter, manufactured in Newark, New Jersey, USA between 1955 and 1958.

The Nordic is among Ronson’s most striking mid-century designs, featuring a turned body of genuine Italian Portoro black marble laced with rich natural gold and white veining. The heavy stone body sits atop a pierced, openwork leaf-and-scroll pattern chrome base and houses a removable chrome lever-action fitment.

• Mechanical Action: The distinctive extended lever arm actuates smoothly, lifting the snuffer cap cleanly with a positive, snappy spring return.

• Fitment & Well: The removable lighter insert pulls out and seats securely in the internal liner. The underside retains its original stamped brass filler and flint screws.

• Marble & Chrome Condition: The Portoro marble is solid with brilliant polish and dramatic natural veining.
