Rare! and early 1960s US Air Force Airman steel toe black leather high lace up boots. All original, as found in the duffel bag of R. J. Stevens. stationed at Dover Air Force Base, November and December 1966, as stated by a yellow inspection tag in his duffel bag with his 2 flight suits (see my other listings of interested) dated from 1961 and 1963 along with his headset, boots, jacket, and other equipment. These combat boots are Size 8.5. (Boot Size) Brand is: LIGHT TREAD.
Boots in used condition. No holes, no rips no cracks. Original shoelaces intact. Leather soles with rubber nonslip outer sole. The Light Tread brand-name is on the in-step. And the size is printed at the top of the boots. The boots are in decent condition, just needing to be cleaned up and polished, or left in original condition for collectors.
Please take a good look at the pictures. I’m not an expert and you’ll need to ask questions before purchasing. I may use a recycled box and packing materials.
