Offered is a vintage Soviet-era naval officer’s dirk featuring classic USSR naval decoration and gilt-tone fittings.
The polished double-edged blade is marked near the ricasso with the ZIK/Zlatoust factory mark and “74,” indicating 1974, and the opposite side is numbered 26659.
The dagger features a light-colored faceted grip with gilt-tone fittings and Soviet emblem at the pommel. The brass/gilt-tone crossguard has the distinctive curved quillons associated with Soviet officer dirks.
The black-covered scabbard is fitted with gilt-tone metal mounts and two suspension rings. Decorative naval motifs include an anchor with rope and a detailed sailing ship scene.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition overall with age-appropriate handling wear, scratches, marks and finish wear. Blade remains bright with scattered scratches/marks visible under close inspection. Gilt-tone fittings show normal surface wear and patina. Scabbard covering shows some age and handling wear. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
