VINTAGE 82ND AIRBORNE – FORT BRAGG, N.C. “MOTHER” PILLOW SHAM
Offered is a beautiful vintage military souvenir pillow sham featuring the Famous 82nd Airborne and Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
The center features the distinctive 82nd Airborne “AA” insignia, surrounded by colorful roses and decorative artwork. A sentimental poem titled “Mother” is printed beneath the insignia, making this a wonderful example of the patriotic and sentimental military souvenirs associated with Fort Bragg and the 82nd Airborne.
The sham has dark blue fringe around all four sides and retains its original vintage printed design.

This appears to be a WWII-era or immediate post-WWII vintage souvenir, but I cannot establish an exact manufacturing date from the piece itself. Similar 82nd Airborne/Fort Bragg pillow covers were produced as sentimental souvenirs for servicemen and their families.
Condition
Vintage condition with age-related discoloration, staining, wrinkling and wear, particularly visible on the fabric. The fringe shows some wear and irregularity from age. Please examine all photographs carefully, as the photos are part of the description.
A very interesting and decorative piece of 82nd Airborne and Fort Bragg history that would make an excellent addition to a military memorabilia or WWII collection.
