Vintage A&J hand-crank egg beater with its original green uranium (vaseline) glass measuring cup. The metal frame is marked Pat. Oct. 9, 1923 and Made in U.S.A. The measuring cup bears the embossed Hazel-Atlas “H over A” maker’s mark on the base and glows brilliantly under UV/black light.
This is a beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find kitchen collectible that displays exceptionally well despite the damage.
Condition:
* Original A&J egg beater with original Hazel-Atlas uranium glass measuring cup
* Patent dated October 9, 1923
* Glass glows brightly under UV/black light (black light not included)
* Interior crack in the measuring cup (see photos)
* Rim has scattered flea bites/chips
* No sharp edges detected
* Cup still holds water with no leaks (paper towel test shown in photos)
* Typical scratches, wear, oxidation, and patina from age and use
* Green wooden handles retain original paint with expected wear

Sold as a vintage collectible/display piece due to the crack and rim chipping. Not recommended for food use.
