Origin:Thimphu, Bhutan (Purchased at the National Handicrafts Emporium)

Provenance:Single-owner piece, collected in 2004. Includes original vintage emporium tote.

Palette:Vibrant greens and rich lavender purples with white accents.

Craftsmanship:Handwoven with complex geometric supplementary warp/weft patterns and fine hand-knotted fringe.

Condition:Very good to excellent vintage condition. Mild fraying on fringe. (See photos.) No stains, spots, rips, tears.

Length:88 inches, plus 10-inch fringe on either end
Width:24.75 inches
Material:Traditional Bhutanese weave (likely raw silk/cotton blend typical of high-quality emporium textiles)
