Purchased new in November 1953 in Victoria, B.C. by Blanche B. Ebersole, wife of Harvard professor John F. Ebersole — her handwritten note is inside the box lid.
• Silver plate on brass, pierced lattice design, made in England (EPNS)• Cobalt blue glass liners, all intact, no chips• Light age patina; no dents• Please note: the box hinge paper has dried and detached with age, and one corner joint of the lid is split (see photos). The shakers themselves are in lovely condition.
