Vintage Bronner’s Made in Italy Jumbo Glass Reflector Finial Christmas Ornament with West Germany Cap & Box
Exceptional oversized vintage European blown-glass Christmas ornament imported by Bronner’s Christmas Decorations of Frankenmuth, Michigan.
This impressive ornament features a large round center with a deeply recessed silver floral reflector, creamy white matte sections, brilliant gold glass, and elaborate hand-applied gold glitter scrollwork. The elongated fluted finial/drop extends below the center and terminates in a small gold glass ball.
The ornament retains a vintage “MADE IN ITALY” sticker on the bottom. Interestingly, the ornate metal cap is stamped “WEST GERMANY.” The original Bronner’s box is marked “Imported Artistic Christmas Ornaments – Made in Italy for Bronner’s.” Based on these surviving markings, the glass ornament is identified as Italian-made with a West German cap.
The combination of its jumbo scale, elaborate reflector, European construction and original Bronner’s packaging makes this a particularly striking vintage Christmas collectible.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. There is scattered spotting/patina and some wear/loss to the painted, silvered and glittered finishes consistent with age. No obvious major breakage is visible in the photographs. Please examine all photos carefully for exact condition.
The original Bronner’s box is included and shows significant age and storage wear, including creasing, staining/spotting, edge wear, distortion and wear/damage to the window. Interior packing material is also present.
