Up for sale is an authentic, field-used Cairns & Brother (MSA Cairns) Model 660C Metro composite structural fire helmet. This helmet features a bold red shell customized for an officer rank, featuring retro-reflective gold decals reading "LIEUTENANT" and "E-82" (Engine 82) cleanly affixed to the sides. The name "ALLEN" along with an IAFF union emblem sticker are present on the rear brim.
This helmet comes fully complete with its original protective hardware, including the spring-loaded impact-resistant clear face shield, yellow retro-reflective trim pieces, and an intact adjustable black chinstrap.
Interior Condition & Suspension:
The underside features a complete multi-point green nylon webbing suspension layout paired with an integrated bright yellow Nomex/flannel thermal brow liner. The patented "Center of Gravity" adjustable backpiece hardware is entirely intact alongside the original orange adjustment label. An official Underwriters Laboratories (UL) safety compliance certification sticker is cleanly affixed to the inner rim.
