Vintage Case XX USA 5254 Pretty Stag Trapper Knife 10-dot 1970 Unused near mint For Sale

The Vintage Case XX USA 5254 Pretty Stag Trapper Knife from 1970 is a collectible folding knife with a 2.76 - 4-inch carbon steel blade featuring a clip point and spey point. The amofferextrous pocketknife has a manual opening mechanism and a slipjoint lock type. Made in the United States, this original Case XX knife has a brown handle made of stag/antler material and includes 10-dot serialization on the blade. A classic piece for collectors of vintage folding knives, this knife is in near mint condition and has never been used. The front blade sits low in the frame so you can't see all of the dots but the way they are spaced with the first dot in line under the C in Case XX and the last dot in line under the last X makes it a 10 dot. When I bought this knife it was listed as having a Muskrat blade but even though the front blade sits lower in the frame than the spey blade I won't call it a Muskrat blade. Still a very good and rare knife in at least near mint condition. Knife only with no box. Due to the value I will ship it in the USA with insurance for $10.00.
