Vintage Caswell’s Cinnamon spice tin from the Geo. W. Caswell Co. of San Francisco, California. Attractive orange and cream lithographed design featuring the large Caswell’s name and eagle emblem. The side advertises other Caswell products including National Crest Coffee, teas, flavoring extracts and baking powder.
An especially interesting feature is the original paper “CINNAMON” label band applied over the lithographed tin, indicating the spice variety. The aged and discolored paper label contrasts nicely with the bright orange graphics and adds to the authentic vintage character.
Four-ounce rectangular metal tin with rotating shaker/pour dispenser on top. Overall graphics remain bright and display very well. Shows age-related wear, including discoloration and staining to the paper label, surface wear, scratches, oxidation and wear to the top and edges. Please see photos for condition.
