Vintage cherry-red phenolic Bakelite cheroot / cigarette holder mouthpiece, commonly referred to by collectors as Cherry Faturan.
Beautiful deep dark cherry-burgundy color that appears almost black in normal light, with vivid translucent ruby-red tones visible along the edges and when held to the light.
The material was tested and produced a positive reaction consistent with vintage Bakelite / phenolic resin. Please see the test photo included in the listing.
Elegant tapered shape with a wider cigarette / cheroot opening at one end and a shaped mouthpiece at the opposite end.
