Vintage Chinese Rosewood & Jade Jewelry Box Green Silk insert EUC For Sale

You areofferding on a vintage Chinese rosewood and jade jewelry box. I purchased this atan sale and I do not know the full provenance but based on appearance, Ibelieve this chest to be from the 1960’s or 70’s (rather than a more historic artifact).

Thisgorgeous piece features carved jade inserts on the doors and the bottom drawer.There are brass appearing (cannot confirm if it is brass) finishes on thecorners, top handle, and cabinet/drawer pulls. Inside the upper doors are 3 drawersthat are lined in embroidered green silk. The drawers are separated with spots forrings. The bottom drawer features a removable top tray that reveals a hidden 2ndcompartment underneath. Overall the beautiful box is in very good to excellentcondition. There are couple of finishing nails missing in some of the brass accents.The silk is overall vibrant but there are some areas of fading and slightfraying as expected with age.
