Original Chrysler Corporation incentive award catalog issued through Chrysler Service & Parts Operations as part of its “America’s Team… Working To Be The Best!” program.
Participants accumulated “Satisfaction Shares” that could be redeemed for merchandise shown in the catalog. The pages feature a great assortment of period products including computers and electronics, calculators, furniture, kitchen appliances, housewares, travel rewards, and other merchandise.
The catalog also includes V.I.P. Checks that could be redeemed toward travel. The V.I.P. Checks program was an employee incentive/reward system in use during the 1980s; the trademark was filed in 1984 and registered in 1985. Chrysler was also prominently using its “Working to Be the Best” slogan by 1985. Together, those details strongly place this catalog in the mid-1980s era, although I could not verify an exact publication year for this specific catalog.
