Features green center panel with white side fields and raised “DKW” lettering across the top. Classic postwar DKW design associated with Auto Union imports.
Backside is marked “S.T.&L.” (Smith, Tuthill & Lippincott), a known U.S. emblem manufacturer, indicating this was produced for the American market.
Based on design and construction, this emblem is believed to be late 1950s to early 1960s and likely used on U.S.-imported DKW models such as:
DKW 3=6 (F91 / F93 / F94 series)
DKW 1000 / 1000S
