Wonderful vintage Disneyland scalloped glass souvenir dish / ashtray featuring classic attractions and lands surrounding Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

The brilliant blue background is accented with metallic gold, black, green and white graphics. The center features the Disneyland name and Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, while the surrounding panels depict classic Disneyland scenes including:

* Mark Twain Steamboat – Frontierland

* It’s a Small World – Fantasyland

* Entrance to Tomorrowland

* Main Street U.S.A. Railroad Station

* Adventureland

* New Orleans Square

New Orleans Square and It’s a Small World both debuted at Disneyland in 1966, placing this design no earlier than the latter half of the 1960s. Similar examples are commonly described by sellers as late-1960s/1970s Disneyland souvenirs, although I would list the date as approximate rather than definitive.

The distinctive wavy/scalloped glass edge gives it a terrific Mid-Century souvenir appearance. Although originally marketed as an ashtray or candy/souvenir dish, it displays beautifully today as Disneyland decor, a trinket dish, catchall, or collector display piece.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Colors remain extremely vibrant and the gold detailing presents very well. No obvious chips or cracks are visible in the supplied photos. Normal very minor age-related wear may be present.
