* Stater of Antioch — 27 B.C.–14 A.D.The original literature identifies the maker as Dory Development Corporation, End of Davenport Avenue, New Rochelle, New York 10805.According to the manufacturer’s original literature, the reproductions were based on original coins in the British Museum or other fine collections. Dory states that the reproductions are made from a lead alloy, silver- or copper-plated, darkened to create an aged appearance, and hand burnished.The accompanying multi-panel literature provides historical and Biblical information for the different coin types.Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. All seven reproductions are present on the original B-1 display card. The display and literature show age-related toning, spotting, discoloration and general storage/handling wear. The coins retain their intentionally antiqued surfaces.
