Vintage Original Eat-It-All Papier-Mâché Ice Cream Cone Advertising Display – RedOffered here is an original vintage Eat-It-All three-dimensional ice cream cone advertising display constructed of papier-mâché.This is the large sculptural version featuring the distinctive molded ice cream top, textured waffle cone and raised EAT-IT-ALL lettering surrounding the upper portion of the cone.This is the same sculptural Eat-It-All form documented by Wright sale house in its Design sale, with this example featuring a striking red ice cream top, yellow waffle cone and dark base.These oversized pieces were produced as commercial advertising and point-of-sale displays for ice cream and soda fountain environments and have become highly collectible pieces of vintage American advertising.Condition:
This example has substantial age-related character and wear.The red ice cream portion shows areas of paint loss, chipping and surface wear. There is also visible cracking/separation and wear around the area where the ice cream portion meets the cone.The cone and base show additional scuffs, discoloration, paint loss and other age-related imperfections.Please enlarge and carefully review all photographs before purchasing, as the photographs are considered part of the condition description.No restoration has been performed by us.
