This is a must have for any serious collector.
I will describe as best I can. I have only seen one other that looks similar but that one doesn’t have the candle holder style top like mine.
I will not make any misrepresentations on who made it, where it was made, or exactly how old it is.
I have not held this under a black light to see if it glows.
Color: emerald green
Height: 11-3/8”
Base: hollow base and inside
Base diameter: 4-1/2” x 3-3/4”.
Candle base top diameter: 2-5/16”
Candle base depth: 3/8” to 1/2”.
From my research I found that this figurine was made by pouring molten glass into a form and using a plunger to force the molten glass outwards in the form.
This is a textured figurine meaning that you can feel the feather texture design.
While the mold seam is visible it has not been “ground to smooth it down” because there were no rough or jagged seams.
There are some inclusions in the glass - see photos.
The inclusion in the center of the front can be “hooked” with your fingernail. There is a minor “catch” on the rear of the base.
The base has not been altered and the figurine does not sit perfectly flat.
It is not “dirty” but should be washed.
