Striking vintage Franco Moretti Murano art glass perfume bottle, featuring the distinctive Scavo finish associated with Moretti’s sculptural Italian glasswork.

The bottle has a wonderfully architectural form: a squat, rounded body in vivid coral-orange glass with a deliberately frosted, excavated-looking Scavo surface, finished with a substantial polished cobalt blue glass collar. The coordinating stopper features a translucent orange spherical finial and fitted glass stem.
The contrast between the ancient-looking Scavo texture and bold saturated colors gives the piece a distinctly Postmodern Italian design sensibility. Beautiful displayed as collectible Murano glass, on a vanity, or incorporated into a modernist interior.
Details: Signed Franco Moretti to the underside. Authentic Murano art glass made in Italy. Scavo-finish orange/coral glass body with cobalt blue collar and original coordinating glass stopper. Vintage late-20th-century design.
