Vintage Georges Briard Ice Bucket Bird Cage MCM Barware 9\" Signed For Sale

Wonderful vintage Georges Briard ice bucket featuring a colorful Mid-Century Modern bird cage design in olive green, rust, mustard, black and gold tones.

The clear outer body protects the decorative panels, while the matching decorated lid continues the same bold graphic design. The bucket has a cream-colored insulated liner, gold-tone lid pull, metal swing handle and cream handle grip. The decoration is signed © Georges Briard, and the underside is marked Made in U.S.A.

Measures approximately 9 inches tall, not including the raised handle, and 8 inches in diameter.

Excellent vintage condition overall. The graphics remain bright and attractive, and the interior liner is very clean. There is light age-appropriate surface wear, including minor scratching to the clear lid and a small nick/loss along the cream-colored lid rim as shown in the photos. No major cracks or structural damage noted.

A terrific 1960s-era Georges Briard barware piece with much more visual interest than the more commonly seen plain ice buckets. Perfect for a Mid-Century Modern bar, vintage cocktail collection or Georges Briard collection.
