This is a vintage Gills Special Coffee with Chicory tin that is being sold as a collectible piece. There is no coffee in this item, it is being sold as an empty tin.
The tin itself is in decent condition for it\'s age, while the can has no date markings I can at least put the date after 1963*, as it does have a Norfolk, Zip Code which was when Zip Codes were first introduced in the United States. Furthermore, it can be no later than 1978* as the James G. Gill Company was purchased by First Colony Coffee & Tea Division in 1978.

This circular tin has a height of roughly 5.5\" and a diameter of roughly 4\". This tin originally was intended to hold 1lb/16 ounces of Coffee.
Something notable about this tin is how well the interior has held up over time, while the exterior does have some wear, the inside is in much better condition, while it does have some blemishes, it has still held up remarkably well for it\'s age.
