Offered is a charming vintage Goebel M.I. Hummel “Little Drummer”, model #240.
This classic Hummel depicts a young boy marching while playing his drum, complete with hand-painted details, traditional clothing, and the original square porcelain base.

The underside shows the appropriate Goebel trademark and impressed markings consistent with the early West German production of this model. The #240 Little Drummer is documented as a 4½-inch Hummel with the 1955 date and TMK-2 marking.
Condition:
Overall good vintage condition with expected age-related wear and minor paint imperfections. There is a visible hairline crack/line on the underside of the porcelain base; please see the final photos for a close-up. No obvious major breakage or missing pieces are visible. The drumsticks, drum, figure, and raised foot are present.
