Here is a beautiful vintage pair of Gorham Heritage silver-plated hummingbird taper candlestick holders. Wonderful for a table scape, side table or bookshelf decor, these highly detailed pieces polish to a bright silver but as silver is wont to do, tarnish to a rich patina.
Made in Italy, likely in the 1980s, this set features sculptural hummingbirds hovering in mid-flight with their beaks extended toward fluted trumpet flower candle cups, all resting on a detailed leaf base. The bottom has a soft rubberish base.
