Vintage Griswold No. 8 704 G Cast Iron Skillet- Slant Logo For Sale

This is a vintage Griswold Slant Large Block Logo No. 8 704 G Cast Iron Skillet. This piece is in great condition and is a true beauty. The lettering on the underside is intricate and clear. There is minor deterioration on the underside and the cooking surface has the familiar texture that comes with age. This skillet had a wonderful cooking surface when it was acquired, and I am jealous that you get to now build the new cooking surface for decades to come. The skillet does wobble and spin, unfortunate for glass tops, but hardly an issue for gas and coil. The handle has the beautiful support spine and an 8 with a font slightly different than later Griswold fonts. Note the upper portion of the 8 is slightly smaller!
