Vintage Swedish pewter footed goblet or chalice by Gunnar Englund of Visby, Sweden. This handsome piece features a tall tapered cup resting on a short stem with a broad circular foot. The understated form and softly aged pewter surface give it a wonderful early Scandinavian appearance. The underside bears the Gunnar Englund / Visby maker's marking along with additional impressed hallmarks. The goblet is in vintage condition with visible surface wear, oxidation/patina, scratches, spotting and age-related marks consistent with an older pewter piece. The aged surface has been left intact and gives the piece plenty of character. Please review all photographs carefully for condition.
