Authentic vintage H. Gerstner & Sons machinist/tool chest manufactured in Dayton, Ohio, USA.
Compact Gerstner chest measures approximately 15” wide x 7” deep x 11\" high. Features black textured leatherette exterior, wood drawer fronts, green felt-lined interior, five drawers, upper storage compartment, interior mirror and fold-down/removable front panel.
Gerstner identification is stamped on the original center lock hardware. Interior factory marking reads “H. Gerstner & Sons Inc., Dayton, Ohio 45407 – Cases” and “LOT 74179.”
Key is included as shown.
Very nice vintage condition overall. Wood drawer fronts retain an attractive finish. Green felt lining and mirror are present. Exterior covering shows normal age-related marks, scuffs and wear. Metal hardware shows normal age/use. Carrying handle shows age-related wear but remains present. Please examine all photographs closely for condition.
