Beautiful original vintage H.W. Lay & Company 1-pound potato chip advertising tin featuring the classic early pink potato mascot/Oscar character and original red lid.
This example really stands out because of the condition of the lithographed body. The colors remain extremely bright and vibrant with very little apparent fading. The red Lay’s logo, deep blue lettering and band, cream background and pink mascot all display exceptionally well.

The main body presents extremely well with only light scratches/marks from normal age and use. The lid shows some surface wear, and there is minor oxidation around portions of the rims/bottom. No major dents or damage noted. Interior shows normal age/storage wear.
This has NOT been polished or restored. Original finish and graphics remain intact.
