This graceful vintage Hollohaza goose is a wonderful example of Hungarian hand-painted porcelain, featuring an intricate fishnet-style pattern accented with colorful plumage and gleaming gold-tone details.
The slender goose has an elegant elongated neck, white porcelain body decorated with a fine brown fishnet pattern, and hand-painted blue, green, red and black feather accents. Gold-finished webbed feet and beak complete the design.
The underside bears the Hollohaza Hungary Handpainted factory mark along with a hand-painted decorator's number. Based on comparable Hollohaza fishnet animal figures, this piece likely dates to approximately the 1970s–1980s.
