For your consideration is a monumental, matching pair of vintage Hollywood Regency style green stone egg sculptures on heavy Neoclassical brass pedestals.
Design & Craftsmanship:
Each piece features a solid, naturally variegated dark green stone egg showcasing beautiful mottled patterns and a distinctive lighter mineral occlusion on one specimen. The eggs are anchored via internal threaded screw rods into heavy, hollow square brass bases bedded with original factory plaster/epoxy compound. The undersides retain their original protective felt pads.
Dimensions:
• Total Height: 9"
• Base Width/Depth: 4.25" x 4.25"
Condition Report:
Both sculptures are in fantastic vintage condition. The stone faces are smooth and highly polished with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. The brass bases show a beautiful, authentic aged patina.
