Vintage Hopi Dance Kilt Tightly Woven Beautifully Embroidered Native American Ceremonial Textile

This is a Very Nice Hopi Ceremonial Dance Kilt / Traditional Weaving, circa early to mid-20th century. The sash has nicely retained its vibrant red, green and blue hues against a creamy white / light beige background. Sashes and kilts exhibiting this classic design are worn in Hopi Pueblo ceremonies with the the geometric designs and fringe symbolizing elements of the earth and sky, such as rain, clouds, and lightning, as well as other patterns.
CONDITION: Very Good Condition with tight weave throughout and no holes. Minor flaws are shown in photos, as follows: a couple of faint spots that are hard to notice except in close up, a couple of loosened or broken red or green stitches,As with any antique or vintage collectable, please let the photos be your best guide.
