For sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage lot of five (5) mid-century modern plastic slotted fruit and bread baskets manufactured in the USA by Hutzler. These feature the highly recognizable Atomic Sunburst / spoke design and carry the official "Hutzler Stock No. 35 Made in U.S.A." maker's mark embossed on the bottom bases. This lot includes a perfect, period-accurate retro harvest color palette:
• 2 Avocado Green Baskets
• 2 Mustard / Sunshine Yellow Baskets
• 1 Burnt Orange Basket Measurements: Approximately 9.5" to 10" in diameter (standard size for fruit/bread display). Condition:
All five baskets are in excellent vintage condition. The lightweight polyethylene plastic is clean, vibrant, and completely structurally sound. There are no melted spots, cracks, or warped spokes, which is uncommon for functional plastic housewares of this age. Minor superficial surface scuffs from gentle storage may be present, but they display wonderfully. Perfect for retro kitchen setups, mid-century modern bar carts, or plastic pop art collectors.
